Open to applicants worldwide, the scholarships are valued at $32,000 AUD each and cover tuition fees and other costs associated with studying at a partner institution. These partner institutions include Deakin University, Curtin University, Murdoch University, La Trobe University and Edith Cowan University.
The Scholarship
In 2022, the Australian Government has announced that it will begin offering substantial scholarships to outstanding international students to study in Australia. Qualifying students will receive up to $10,000 in tuition assistance each year for their first four years of study, provided they maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
The program will be funded by a government endowment from 2022–2043 with no up-front costs to participating institutions or students. In exchange for tuition assistance, recipients must agree to work in an industry identified as being in-demand by state and federal governments—which includes medical services and information technology, among others—for at least 10 years after graduation.

The Eligibility Criteria
The program is open to international students who are aged 18 or above and wishes to study in one of these universities in Australia. They must have completed their high school studies with a GPA of 3.5 or higher (out of 4). The applicants will be required to sit for an entrance exam based on their major field.
Those candidates whose scores meet a certain cut-off point would be shortlisted and invited to attend an interview round where they would be evaluated by interviewers and teachers. Candidates who were successful at both rounds would then proceed to prepare a personal statement, based on their goals and reasons, which will then be scored by teachers as well as interviewers who will later determine which candidate gets what scholarship available under 2022 Australia awards scholarships for international students program.
