2022 University of Pisa Merit Scholarships for International Students – Italy’s University of Pisa has announced that it will be offering over 20 scholarships to international students in 2022. The university has been ranked as the 10th best institution in Italy, and the 50th best place to study in Europe by the prestigious QS World University Rankings .
According to its website, the University of Pisa is one of the oldest universities in the world…[and] ranks among the top 100 universities worldwide, making it an excellent choice for prospective students who are looking to immerse themselves in Italian culture while pursuing an academic career abroad.
Who is Eligible?
Eligible applicants are non-EU students who will have completed a Bachelor’s degree at time of application, or expect to complete one by June 2022. Applicants must also have an overall GPA of 3.7/4 and a high level proficiency in English as demonstrated by a standardized language test (for example, IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC).
On top of that, all candidates must demonstrate interest and understanding in one or more areas related to science and technology; these include biomedicine and health, biomedical imaging, brain sciences and neuroscience (including clinical research), biomedical engineering, applied physics and materials science (including nanoscience), mechanical engineering as well as computer sciences.
