Considerations for your Facebook Easter Cover Photo

Selecting your background image
Facebook doesn’t currently offer many ways for you to express yourself through your profile photo. But you can use your Facebook cover photo, which appears on your timeline as well as in news feeds and search results, to express yourself artistically. The size is different: Your cover image will be 620 pixels wide by 851 pixels tall, but it will only appear on high-resolution displays at 310 pixels wide by 431 pixels tall.
Finding the perfect typeface for your Facebook Easter Cover Photo
Unless you’re especially gifted with typography, it’s likely that designing your Facebook Easter cover photo from scratch is not an option. Editing and transforming your images
There are a lot of editing and transforming your images programs out there; if you have Photoshop, you’re good to go. Many bloggers and artists use Canva, which is an image-editing site where everything is drag-and-drop easy. This means that if you have time to kill while writing, using an editing program is great! Just be sure not to get too caught up in it or else you might spend all day on it rather than actually writing your post.
Adding text with Paint
Adding text to an image in Microsoft Paint is simple. Click on Text from under Format, and a window will pop up.
Saving as an image file
To save your cover photo as an image file: Click Edit Profile on your Timeline. Click Choose File under Your Cover Photo. Select your saved image and click Save Changes. Note: The image must be at least 720 pixels wide and 462 pixels tall in order to use it as a cover photo on Facebook. And keep in mind that if you upload one at 1080p, for example, it may not appear correctly after saving it as an image file.
Uploading your photo cover on Facebook
To upload your cover photo, follow these steps:
1. Log into your Facebook account.
2. Click Change Cover (located in your main cover photo) on top of your timeline page.
3. Browse and select a photo from your library, or take an image using camera of your computer or mobile device.
4. Select Save Changes when you’re ready and that’s it!

Before you get started on your own festive profile photo, you need to know how to use filters and frames. This is where I’m forced to admit that I don’t know how. So, there are plenty of bloggers who can teach you (and they will). However, if I had my way, we’d all just be sharing photos from our phones with sepia filters applied and vintage photography styles put in place.
